Iran’s first quadrivalent vaccine to combat the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) has been produced and launched into the market under the brand name “Gardisun.”
The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is the primary cause of several diseases and cancers in both men and women, the most significant being cervical cancer, which ranks as the fourth most common cancer among women.
Produced by Biosun Pharmed, Gardisun covers four common and high-risk strains of the HPV virus. This vaccine is manufactured using advanced Virus-Like Particle (VLP) technology and eukaryotic cells, providing exceptionally high immunity without introducing viral DNA into the body.
The new vaccine from Biosun Pharmed has been released to the market at a price less than half that of imported alternatives.
